Eco Candle Lab ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit or shop at ecocandlelab.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Contact details you provide, such as name, email address, shipping address, and phone number.
Order information, including items purchased, order history, and order status.
Account information if you sign in with Google or Apple (name, email, and profile photo).
Usage data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, such as pages visited, items viewed or added to cart, and general device and browser information.

How We Use Information

To process and fulfill orders, and to keep you updated on order and shipping status.
To operate your account and let you view past orders.
To respond to customer service requests.
To improve the Site and our product offering.
To measure and improve our advertising, as described below.
To send order-related communications, and marketing emails if you opt in.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC on our servers. Stripe's use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

Sharing Information

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and fulfill your order, solely to provide their services to us:

Stripe (payments and sales tax calculation).
Shippo, USPS and UPS (shipping labels and delivery).
Resend (order and shipping emails).
Cloudflare (website hosting and security).
Google and Apple (only if you choose to sign in with them).
Meta (advertising measurement, as described below).
Microsoft (site usage analytics through Microsoft Clarity, as described below).
Google (if you agree on the order confirmation page, Google Customer Reviews receives your email, order number and estimated delivery date to send you one short survey about your purchase).

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Advertising and Analytics

We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who may be interested in them, we use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. These tools send Meta information about actions taken on the Site — such as viewing a product, adding to cart, starting checkout, or completing a purchase (including order value) — along with technical identifiers such as cookie IDs, IP address and browser information. Where we send contact details like an email address or phone number, they are hashed before being sent.

You can control how Meta uses this information for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings (facebook.com/adpreferences), and you can opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies at optout.aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

To understand how visitors use the Site and improve it, we use Microsoft Clarity, which records how you interact with our pages (such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) and produces heatmaps and session replays, which can include what is shown on the page, such as your cart or order details. Payment card details are never visible to it. Clarity uses cookies and may be used by Microsoft as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement (privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement).

Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us at hello@ecocandlelab.com. If you are a California resident, you also have the right to opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; email us with the subject "Do Not Share" and we will stop sending your information to advertising partners. We also honor Global Privacy Control browser signals. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.

Data Deletion

To delete your data, including any data received through Sign in with Google or Apple, follow the steps on our Data Deletion page. We keep order records only as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
